I am pleased to share with you all some very exciting news.
Over the last few months we have been working hard to acquire a local premises for our Post 16 students. I am very pleased to say that we signed a contract today and that we now have a premises along The Strand in Walmer that we will be opening soon as a coffee shop.
The coffee shop will also be a base to display artwork, trade skills projects etc
The students in Post 16 will have the opportunity to regularly work within the coffee shop, gain extremely important skills and work experience, which will hopefully lead to future employability.
It is envisaged that this will be a coffee shop that will not just be open during term time but will give opportunities for work during holiday time too.
I hope you will agree that this a marvellous addition to the student experience and learning and that you will support the venture when open.
